Grant is the life of the party. He enjoys a good time, whether it’s throwing parties or spending money out on the town. He goes by the nickname “G-ball” for “goofball.” His best friend on the cast is Clay, whom he coaxes out of his shy shell and encourages on the lady front.
“I just make a positive time out of every situation, and we keep everyone entertained,” said the Newport Beach native. Grant may have something of a bad-boy reputation; his parents sent him off to military school during a recent summer to reform his errant ways.
“Some people might have that idea about me, but they don’t hold it against me,” he said. “I say ‘hi’ to everyone on campus.”
Grant’s father owns car dealerships and his mother is a flight attendant. Like others in the cast, Grant wouldn’t mind a future in the entertainment industry. “It’s obviously hard to pursue. But if there’s offers (sic) out there, I feel outgoing enough to take it on.”
Grant says cast members were never handed scripts or coached on what to say. “It was just us hanging out. It’s a reality show. I would describe it as a documentary.”
In the series, he serves as a sounding board for both Chrissy and Clay. He has had a falling out with Chase, with whom he used to be childhood friends.
Grant hopes to attend Arizona State University or the University of Southern California – if his grades are good enough.

@Carla: I don’t think he is afraid of a commitment. I think he just doesn’t want to have a relationship ’cause he sees that it causes trouble and this is something he doesn’t like… I think he just enjoys his single life.
