The youngest of the main cast, Taylor spends part of her time with girls her age, and part with Chrissy and her older friends. An Orange County native, she’s got blond hair, green eyes and a look that many guys find appealing. That presents some challenges for a girl who’s still growing up and learning the ways of the world.
In “Newport Harbor,” Taylor has an inconsistent romance with Chase. She notices his wandering eyes, and also the attention of other guys in their circle.
“I know that some of the girls didn’t like if Chase and I were together,” she said. “I like all of them. I don’t have anything against them.”
Taylor has an older brother, Garrett. She thinks it’s cool that she and her friends will be on national TV, but isn’t making too much out of it.
“I’m still in high school. I’ve got two more years left. I don’t think I’m going to be famous. … I think it was, like, a really cool experience to look back on. When I have kids, I’ll show them how my high school was.”
Taylor enjoys dancing, tennis, soccer, shopping and going to the beach. She has owned a sewing machine ever since she was little, and may want to pursue a career in fashion.
“I want to go to FIDM (the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising),” she said. “I always wanted to go there.”
Who knows? Perhaps one day she could follow in the footsteps of Lauren Conrad, a “Real Orange County” alum who attended FIDM and stars in “The Hills,” another MTV reality series.
