Newport Harbor Episode 6 - The “V” Word
Newport Harbor episode 6 was pretty good. If you missed it you need to check it out now! It seemed like Chase was mourning the fact that he chose Allie over Taylor on prom night by telling Taylor to leave the after party. Chase couldn’t even tell Taylor to leave the house himself, he had to get his best friend to do it for him! Seriously, grow up Chase… this isn’t elementary school. As the episode goes on Chase meets Taylor on the pier and Taylor still has to “think about it” whether or not she’s okay. Taylor definitely made the right move by not answering her phone when she was hanging out with her friend on the bed. Allie mentioned to Chase that he has Taylor by the leash and she was right. At the end of the episode Chase invited Taylor over for dinner and Taylor didn’t seem to excited to have dinner. When she arrived at Chase’s house he had pizza, obviously he can’t cook, and his parents weren’t home. Chase and Taylor seemed to be back together and on good terms. Good for them!
While the Chase and Taylor drama was going on, Allie was trying to convince her parents to let her go to Europe after graduation with Samantha. Allie’s dad might get her what she wants, but he just can’t seem to lay down the law with Allie. Who’s dad would just sit there after his daughter tells him that she already paid for the whole trip with his credit card? He tried to convince Allie that she knows nothing about the real world, but teenagers know everything, right? Boy is Allie in for a reality check.
In the midst of all the whining and drama Newport Harbor’s favorite and hottest couple Chrissy and Clay were getting ready for a night at Clays house chilling in his spa. Grant and Clay’s friends try to tell Clay how to work it and move it to the next level with Chrissy. Later on we find out that Chrissy’s still a virgin and she’s proud of that fact she was able to stay one all throughout high school. But I mean come on, if you haven’t had a serious relationship all throughout school I would expect that she would still be a virgin! She finally lets Clay know that she’s a virgin when they go into the spa and Clay says that he respects that and it means that a girl is more “pure”. At least it didn’t get awkward like Chrissy and Sasha anticipated while shopping for swim wear.
Now we just have to wait for our favorite cast members on Newport Harbor to finally graduate! From the next episode’s previews it looks as though Chase and Taylor cause more drama when they show up to Allie’s BBQ meant only for her senior friends! We’ll just have to wait and see…
